The Super Eagles of Nigeria will on Saturday, November 12 host Algeria in the matchday two of the World Cup qualifiers in Uyo.
Gernot Rohr led side has suffered a major blow as his first choice goalkeeper has suffered a hip injury.
Ikeme sustained the injury in Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Championship clash with Blackburn Rovers on Saturday, October 29.

The goalkeeper was taken off at half time due to injury and the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) have been informed that he will not be able to recover in time for the Algeria clash.
"Ikeme wrote to the Nigeria Football Federation on Tuesday to inform us that he will not recover in time for the Algeria game," the NFF have confirmed.
A return date has not been set for the 30-year-old goalkeeper but several reports suggest that he will be out for several weeks.
Super Eagles Technical Adviser, Rohr has called up South Africa-based Daniel Akpeyi as replacement.
