The singer opened up the show with a symbolic prison uniform and police van portraying his freedom after UK ban lift.

Burna Boy held his October 1 2016 Homecoming concert marking his return to the United Kingdom in seven years.

The event held at the Eventim Apollo concert and from the reception of the crowd in attendance and on social media suggested it was a successful outing.

One of the major highlights at the show was Burna’s grand entry into the show, arriving in a prison uniform and a van portraying his legal encounter with the UK police and freedom from the consequent 15-year ban from the UK that was later lifted.

Burna Boy recently released a 7-track EP titled "Redemption" of which he has dropped two singles 'Pree' and 'Fa so la ti do', both getting great reception.

The project saw him collaborate once again with producer Leriq of Aristokrat Records, who also worked magic with him on his first album "L.I.F.E " (Leaving An Impact For Eternity) in 2013.
