The UN boss made the comment during a bilateral meeting with Buhari on the sidelines of the 71st UN General Assembly in New York, a statement released by the president’s media aide, Femi Adesina said.

“You are highly respected by world leaders, including myself. Your persona has given your country a positive image,” Ban said.

US President, Barack Obama also met with Buhari on the sidelines of the conference and expressed confidence in the latter’s leadership.
