The video also shows burnt parts which the group says are those of a fallen jet fighter, the Associate Press reports.

In the clip, an armed terrorists reportedly declares that Boko Haram still holds several north-eastern towns.

He also says that members of the sect abound in terrorist stronghold, Sambisa Forest.

The terrorist also reportedly makes mockery of the multinational force created to fight Boko Haram saying that the troops are disunited.

The claim of disunity within the force was previously made by Chadian President, Idriss Deby during a recent visit to Nigeria.

The video is the first to be released by Boko Haram since it pledged allegiance to ISIS in March.

It however doesn’t show leader, Abubakar Shekau who is usually a fixture in the group’s clips.
