Blackheads are like mild form of acne common on the face and other parts of the body including the neck, chest and back.

There are two seemingly simple ways to avoid blackheads (and breakouts generally)

1. Keep hands away from the face

The first rule to avoiding any blemish on the face is to stay away from touching the face! During the course of the day, the hands get busy and somehow riddled with germs which can be easily transferred to the face when touched.

When the hands touch the face and germs are transferred to the face, blackheads and other breakouts flare up on the skin.

2. Keep face squeaky clean always

To ensure blackheads are kept at bay, always ensure the face is clean. Since blackheads are caused by oils, grimes/dead skin cells its important to make sure the pores are not blocked/the face is kept clean.

Remove excess oils from the face by using a deep cleanser (use this according to skintype) and exfoliate often to remove oil build up to reveal fresher and newer skin.
