The FIFA 2014 World Cup is almost upon us and Olu Maintain drops a new single, “Olu In Brazil”, which we believe might be related to the international soccer competition which will take place in Brazil.
The dance cut has Makossa, Fuji and Afro-Pop influences, and shows us a groovy aspect of the new Olu Maintain.
This new song comes after a recent attempt to hit the big time again, with a new song and expensive video ‘Enuff Effizy’, which failed to win over the desired audience. Olu demonstrates that consistency is a necessity in music. O.i.B (Olu In Brazil) was shot in the beautiful islands and villas of Brazil.
Olu Maintain had also signed a worldwide distribution deal with Def Jam Recordings, an American record label, focused predominantly on hip hop and urban music, owned by Universal Music Group, and operates as a part of The Island Def Jam Music Group.
