Bayern Celebrates Oktoberfest with Young Talents in the Spotlight (Photos)

The Bayern squad made their traditional visit to Oktoberfest this Sunday, amidst a festive atmosphere, two days after their emphatic 7-0 victory over Union Berlin. The team, still undefeated in their seven official matches this season, gathered with their families at the traditional Bavarian event, deeply rooted in the club, partly due to its sponsors.

Despite not yet being undisputed starters at Bayern, young talents Tom Bischof and Lennart Karl stole the spotlight. Bischof, a 21-year-old midfielder, arrived hand-in-hand with his girlfriend, Josefine Scholl, 18, daughter of club legend Mehmet Scholl. The couple, who have been together for about a year and a half, made their first public appearance precisely at Oktoberfest 2025. Bischof is the current captain of the German U21 national team and was recently called up to the senior squad by Jurgen Klopp.

Also in focus was Lennart Karl, 18, considered one of the club's greatest offensive talents. The young German international attended with his girlfriend, Zoe Kappele, a relationship that became public in March.

Another piece of news came from the Laimer couple. Ines-Sarah Laimer, 28, wife of midfielder Konrad Laimer, 29, showcased her pregnancy, as the couple awaits their second child.

In contrast, several players attended unaccompanied. Captain Manuel Neuer, 40, was alone, as his wife, Anika, stayed home with their newborn second child. Also without company were Jonas Urbig, Aleksandar Pavlovic, Jamal Musiala, Serge Gnabry, new signing Nathaniel Brown, and Michael Olise, the latter noted for wearing a blue knit beanie... and his hair combed forward, covering his face. He's known to be a reserved man.

The celebration also extended to past glories. On the balcony of the Paulaner tent, a group of club legends celebrated simultaneously. Among those present were Javi Martínez, the new brand ambassador, Claudio Pizarro, Lúcio, Giovane Elber, Roy Makaay, Daniel Van Buyten, Thomas Linke, Thomas Helmer, Diego Contento, Michael Sternkopf, Hans Jorg Butt, Christian Nerlinger, Michael Tarnat, and Raimond Aumann.

Following the celebration, most players will join their respective national teams. The return to competition is scheduled for October 10, with Bayern traveling to face Augsburg.
