The singer talks about working on his next album “Songs About You”, directing visuals for his singles, ‘Made for you’, ‘High notes’, ‘All I want is you’ and the latest ‘Mi re do’ as well as working on his label acts Shaydee and  Niyola’s album as well as a rap mixtape with DJ Xclusive later in the year.

Speaking on his label and why his label acts Niyola and Shayde were yet to achieve that ‘A-list’ status, Banky responded by saying  it takes different times for artistes to get to that height, and he is very certain about Niyola and Shayde’s  talent.

“I think for every artiste there is a journey involved, and that is very rare where you see someone come out to actually blow up off their first song, and I think that as a label, all you can do is identify talent, identify people you wanna work with and just put in the money, and the work, and the effort to make that person successful, and whether it takes a week month  year or however long, the onus lies on you to put in effort to make that project a success…”making reference to how long it took Wizkid and Skales to emerge who they are today.  He also added that DJ Xclusive should not be forgotten insinuating that he is as well an A-list artist.

The singer also commented on Tiwa Savage and Teebillz’ drama, saying he loves and would always be there for them, and does not believe in discussing personal matters in public.

He also talks about his ideal woman and best food among other gists as he raps up his countdown of his 10 favourite songs at the moment.
