USB ports:

While relatively new in Nigeria, these have been around for a while now. These became increasingly popular in the wake of smartphones. Now, carbuzz reports that these are about to disappear. In it's place, will be wireless charging docks, and bluetooth connectivity. These two will be used to charge phones, play music and answer calls. The 2016 Kia Optima SXL is already moving with the times as it has a wireless charging dock.

External car mirrors:

These have been around for as long as i can remember. However, these have become a little outdated, thanks to navigation systems. Auto manufacturers like BMW have getting ready to build mirrorless cars, as seen in the 2016 BMW i8.

Navigation systems:

These came onto the scene in the early 2000s. They were born out of a desire to make trips to unknown destinations easier. While they have replaced external car mirrors, they have stopped fulfilling their initial purpose. Thanks to the outbreak of smartphones, people no longer need to relay on their systems for directions.
