The 29-year-old agreed to a one-year deal with the Dolphins after working out for the team on Monday.

Foster spent his first seven NFL seasons with the Texans before leaving at the end of the 2015 campaign, which was cut short due to an Achilles injury.

"After my visit with Miami, I kind of already made my mind up that that’s where I wanted to be," Foster said.

"I was stressing to my agent that I wanted to get the deal done, because I see a lot of promise in this team, and I feel like I can add value and help the team get to where they want to be

"I'm going to try to do that as best as possible."
