Sanchez’s protracted contract negotiation with Arsenal has sparked transfers rumours linking him with a move to Manchester City.

Reports in Chile suggested that Guardiola personally spoke to the striker on the phone but the City manager denied having any conversation with the Arsenal players.
“Absolutely false. The journalist is a liar,” Guardiola said.
“Alexis Sanchez would fit in any team in the world. The journalist is a liar.”
Sanchez is out of contract at the Emirates in 2018 and has demanded a weekly wage of over £200, 000.

He now has 40 goals in 75 Premier League for the Gunners since joining the team in 2015 from Barcelona.
