In his last two games, he scored after coming on as a second-half substitute.
The 20-year-old scored Arsenal’s third goal in their 3-1 win over Stoke City.
Following his performance, Iwobi says he is working hard so he can return to Arsenal’s starting X1.
"I was able to get a goal last week in the Champions League and now I was able to get one in the Premier League," Iwobi told Arsenal website.
"I just need to kick on now and show what I can do to get into the starting team again.
"It was much needed a win - even though we started off a bit shaky, we were able to get through in the end and it was a great performance from the team.
"We’d like to clean a sheet but we were able to get three points, we defended well and it will boost our confidence.”
Iwobi and his teammates travel to Goodison Park where Arsenal will take on Everton in a Premier League midweek fixture on Tuesday, December 13.
