Arsenal forward says they were unfortunate against Manchester City
Despite taking an early lead through Theo Walcott, Arsenal conceded twice in the second half to lose their second game in one week.
Iwobi who played 65 minutes in the defeat claimed the Gunners were unlucky to have lost the encounter.
"I guess you could say we took our foot off the gas. Man City took advantage very well in the second half,” Iwobi told Arsenal official website.
"We were up against a tough side today, we were just unfortunate to not keep the win.
"We started off very well but we weren’t able to keep it up in the second half and we were very unfortunate.
"We just have to continue the way we were playing at the start of the season. We just have to get that back and kick on now and prepare well for the next game."
Arsenal now fourth on the Premier League table, nine points below leaders Chelsea, will face West Brom, Crystal Palace and AFC Bournemouth in their next three fixtures.
