After Enrique's Arrival, Lee Kang-In Returns to Spain

South Korean international Lee Kang-In is reportedly set to transfer from Paris Saint-Germain to Atletico Madrid. According to AFP, the French champions will receive a transfer fee of 40 million euros for the 25-year-old forward. Slovakian national team defender Dávid Hancko also plays for Atletico.

However, following the arrival of coach Luis Enrique, he lost his regular starting spot. In January, he sustained a thigh injury but managed to recover in time for the start of the 2026 World Cup, where the Korean team failed to advance from the group stage.
