The Australia international retired hurt in Tuesday's IPL defeat against Rajasthan Royals after setting off for a quick single and pulling up in agony.

Mumbai captain Rohit Sharma said after the game that the right-hander's injury "looks bad" and Finch gave an update on Wednesday after being sent for a scan.

He tweeted: "Looks like I'll be out of the rest of @IPL at this stage! The scan showed a bit of damage, absolutely shattered!"

Finch's injury is also a concern for Yorkshire, as he is due to link up with the county champions after the IPL at the end of next month.
