Following groundbreaking new agreements with its biggest sponsors, Real Madrid now boasts a jersey valued at an astonishing 300 million euros, according to AS. This makes it the most expensive football kit in history, significantly outpacing its main rivals.
On Tuesday, Real Madrid announced its renewed partnership with main sponsor Emirates, extending until 2031. Under the terms of the deal, the airline will pay the club 100 million euros annually, a substantial increase from the previous 70 million euros per season.
However, yesterday saw the Madrid giants confirm an even more impressive deal, re-signing with sportswear supplier adidas until 2034. This agreement will see the 15-time European club champions rake in an additional 120 million euros each season, making it the top deal of its kind globally.
Since 2024, for the first time in the club's history, Real Madrid also features a sponsor on one of its jersey sleeves. This comes from the technology company HP, which pays the "Royal Club" 80 million euros annually for the visibility of its logo.
These three sponsorships alone generate annual revenues of approximately 300 million euros for the Spanish powerhouse, making them the undisputed leader in this regard. Second-placed Manchester City earns 220 million euros from its primary sponsors, followed by Barcelona with 200 million and Paris Saint-Germain with a similar figure.
