Onyekuru hits camp in Seychelles as Iwobi, Ekong and Aina are ruled out with injuries
The Super Eagles of Nigeria are to face Seychelles in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier on Saturday, September 7.
Ahead of the clash, Onyekuru, back to the Super Eagles for the first time since November 2017 is the first player to arrive in Camp.
Iwobi has pulled out of the friendly game because of an illness which also made him miss Arsenal’s 3-2 win at Cardiff over the weekend.
Aina and Ekong have pulled out of the AFCON qualifier because of injuries.
Aina played 86 minutes of Torino’s 1-0 win over SPAL while Troost-Ekong was on for 90 minutes in Udinese’s 0-1 loss away at Fiorentina in the Italian Serie A.
