In a message posted on its Facebook page, the Egyptian military also said it killed 45 other ISIS fighters and destroyed arms and ammunition stores used by the group.
According to Reuters, there was no confirmation from Sinai Province as at press time.
The Province is known to be the terrorists' offshoot in Egypt's Sinai Peninsula.
