Apple has been winning the mobile phone competition for many years now without any serious competition to their phones or brand.
Samsung Galaxy S6 Vs iPhone 6
Find out six ways the Samsung Galaxy S6 knocks out the iPhone 6 out of the game.
Unfortunately for them, but fortunately for us, the users, one of Samsung's new babies, the Samsung Galaxy S6, is taking over.
This smartphone is doing serious damage to the iPhone 6's selling game.
However, there is more, turns out there are things the SG6 can do that iPhone 6 simply can not, six of them are;
Monitors your heart rate and blood oxygen- Although, Apple takes your health seriously by providing apps that will use the iPhone 6’s rear camera and flash to measure your heart rate, unfortunately, they are quite slow and often inaccurate. Samsung shows their dedication to catering to your heart by giving the Galaxy S6(GS6) a amazing heart rate monitor that reads your pulse instantly and accurately. They go on to make the GS6 one of the first devices that can monitor your blood oxygen.
Unbelievably fast charging- The Galaxy S6 includes fast-charging technology, it is so efficient that charging your phone for just 10 minutes can add at least four hours of standby time to your Galaxy S6’s battery. The iPhone 6 unfortunately can not boost of this.
Wireless charging- Samsung’s Galaxy S6 has a built-in support for wireless charging, which is a feature that lets you charge your phone without the traditional charger. Unfortunately, this feature is not available on the iPhone 6.
Flexible customization and personalization- A very significant thing about the GS6 is the level of control owners have over customization and personalization. The GS6's customization and personalization is very flexible, it takes the concept of making a smartphone yours to a whole new level. Something the iPhone 6 is nowhere close to doing with their very rigid structure. Simply put, the GS6 fosters personalization while the iPhone seems to stifle it.
Turns your phone into a TV remote- The GS6 has an infrared blaster that lets you control just about any device you want, the iPhone 6 does not. Although, iPhone 6 users can buy third-party accessories if they want to use their handset as a TV remote, or some apps include compatibility with specific set-top boxes.
Best selfie ever- In this area, the GS6 wins hands down. Not only does it have a higher-resolution camera (5MP) than the iPhone (1.2MP), it also takes noticeably better selfies in a variety of lighting conditions. Something else that hasGS6 users going crazy is the fact that you only have to trigger the selfie shutter from the back to take a picture with the front-facing shooter. This wonderful feature eliminates having to awkwardly tap the display with your thumb in order to get the perfect selfie.
Despite all of the winning points, the GS6 has gotten, there are a few areas some users might have issues with like the non-removable battery, absent expandable storage, reflective backing and the fact that some say it looks a lot like the iPhone 6.
Ultimately, both phones will appeal to users and have their individual selling points, but i give the GS6 a 7/10.
