Cloud storage giant now has over 400 million registered users

The company didn’t say how many of these are monthly active users, but it still shows that Dropbox’s registered user base at the very least continues to grow.

Dropbox faces stiff competition from a host of other cloud storage services.

According to its blog, Dropbox has announced that it now has more than 400 million registered users, an increase from the last public figure about its user base in May last year.

“Today, 400 million people around the world are using Dropbox. They sync 1.2 billion files every day, create over 100,000 new shared folders and links every hour, and make 4,000 edits every second,” the company announced on its official blog.

The company didn’t say how many of these are monthly active users, but it still shows that Dropbox’s registered user base at the very least continues to grow in spite of rapidly growing competition..
