Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State

Okorocha however admitted that the party was concerned about the high rate of defections in the state.

He made the comments during a visit to Akure, the state capital, to gather support for APC candidate, Rotimi Akeredolu.

“We are not jittery but concerned. The PDP, AD candidates are strong but I know we will win. We are not happy that we are losing some of our party members,” Okorocha said.

“Those who are aggrieved by any means should please come back. Sometimes, it is about communication, if the right communication was dispatched, I don’t think this would have happened.

“Everybody is still with him; Bola Tinubu is still with him, Ogun, Osun, Lagos, Oyo governors are with him. The problem is that there is a communication gap.

“We are all together and by the grace of God, Ondo State will be APC compliant. All the governors of APC have met and resolved to work for the victory of the party and its candidate, Akeredolu in the forthcoming governorship election,” he added.
