Tambuwal congratulates Anambra Governor on reelection victory
He said Obiano's victory was a manifestation of the people's trust and confidence in his leadership.

In a statement issued in Sokoto by his spokesman, Malam Imam Imam, on Monday, November 20, 2017, Tambuwal noted that Obiano's victory was a manifestation of the people’s trust and confidence in his leadership.
He urged the Governor to rise above partisan consideration and carry along all people, including his opponents, in the task of building the state further.
"I urge His Excellency to see the fresh mandate given to him as a call to extra duty in the service of his state and an immense opportunity to carry forward the policies and projects initiated during his first term so as to promote progress and development of Anambra State," Tambuwal added.

While urging those defeated in the election to accept the result in good fate and cooperate with the winner in the interest of the people, Tambuwal said any decision to challenge the outcome should be limited to the confines of the law.
He pledged the cooperation of Sokoto State Government to the new Governor, saying his administration will work with all persons and interest groups to deepen democracy in the country.
