President Muhammadu Buhari has reportedly summoned all the legislator-members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) over the crisis rocking the party due to its choice of National Assembly leaders.

Buhari is said to have been briefed on the situation upon his arrival to the country from Germany today, Tuesday, June 9, 2015.
The meeting is also set to take place today at the International Convention Center in Abuja at 9am.
The 8th National Assembly is set to be inaugurated today and the legislators will be expected to choose the Senate President and the Speaker of the House of Representatives.
The APC has adopted Senator Ahmed Lawan for the office of Senate President and Femi Gbajabiamila as Speaker of the House of Representatives but this has been rejected by Senator Bukola Saraki and Reps member, Yakubu Dogara who are also desirous of occupying the positions.
Meanwhile, both Saraki and Dogara have been adopted by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as its candidates.
