Faleke challenges INEC in tribunal

He said that since Late Prince Audu won the guber elections before his death, it was the duty of INEC to declare him winner of the elections.

The embattled Kogi state Deputy Governor elect, James Faleke has challenged the decision of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to hold supplementary elections in the state after the death of Late Prince Abubakar Audu.

Faleke has also dragged INEC before the elections petitions tribunal to determine if the election body was right by taking that decision.

This might not be in the favour of the All Progressives Congress (APC), because indirectly, the Deputy Governor elect is challenging the election of Alhaji Yahaya Bello.

Faleke said he has no grouse with the APC, adding that all he wants is to secure the mandate given to him and Late Audu by the people.
