KOWA Party promises good showing in Ekiti, Osun

Adebayo told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos on telephone on Thursday that several members of the party had shown interest in the two elections.

He said the best candidates would emerge through transparent primaries to be conducted in both states.

“We already have a few aspirants, but we hope that the winner of the primaries will do the party proud in the two states,” he said.

Adebayo said the level of transparency of the party is a reason why it should be given a chance in the two states.

NAN reports that the Independent  National Electoral Commission has fixed the Ekiti State governorship election for July 14, while that of Osun State holds  on Sept. 22.
