Governor speaks on 'going to see Tinubu'

Governor Fayose reacts to an allegation that he visited Tinubu at his Bourdillion residence during the weekend.

Words of Fayose’s alleged visit to Tinubu’s residence at Bourdillion, Ikoyi, alongside his deputy, Professor Olusola Eleka filtered into Nigeria's social media space at the weekend.

The allegation follows speculations of Senator Godswill Akpabio from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the APC in a few days.

But in a tweet on Sunday, August 5, 2015, Fayose said he would remain in the PDP till the very end.

“Linking me with any APC leader is like saying that I'm associating with armed robbers who stole the mandate of Ekiti people. If it will remain one man that will continue to stand against the tyrannical govt of Buhari and his APC, that one man will be Peter Ayodele Fayose,” the governor declared.

Meanwhile, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has hinted on the commencement of Fayose’s investigation in the coming days.
