Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have failed to reach a final decision on zoning of political offices in the incoming government.
Party leaders fail to agree on power sharing formula
A meeting held by the leaders from Wednesday, April 22 till Thursday, 23, 2015, had to be adjourned after it resulted in a deadlock.

The APC leaders, who met at the Rivers State Governors’ Lodge in Asokoro, Abuja, decided that more consultations were necessary before a final power sharing agreement could be reached.
“We have to be careful in dealing with such sensitive issues because we must carry everybody along to eliminate the possibility of having aggrieved members who could be used by our opponents,” an APC leader, who chose to remain anonymous, told Punch.
“If you remember, the President-elect, (Muhammadu Buhari) has promised to be the President of those who voted for and against him and even those who did not vote. And in keeping with this promise, we want to come up with what is fair to all like we have done so far. We may meet again today(Thursday) or tomorrow(today),” the source added.
The APC leaders present at the meeting include President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari; Vice-President-elect, Yomi Osinbajo; former Vice President,Atiku Abubakar and National Leader, Bola Tinubu among others.
