"We need the cooperation of all Nigerians especially institutions like yours that understand what we are trying to do and buy into it so that we can all join hands to ensure a smooth journey as a party and for Nigerians.

"We are determined that Nigeria will not continue in the way of the past, we are determined that Nigeria must change for better.

The Chairman of the Institute in the FCT, Mr Samuel Olaniran, said the team was at the secretariat to intimate the party of its annual conference.

''We believe that this government, with the platform on which they have come on board, is for things to change, change in governance, change in economic management and change in our social-cultural lives.

''We believe that the party is very relevant to what we want to discuss and what we can do as an institution is to support this government in order to change properly on the platform of strategy in every sector of the economy.''

Olaniran noted that the struggling economy solely dependent on earnings from the oil revenues was as a result of poor strategic planning.

He said with the rich potentials of the country in agriculture and natural resources, Nigeria's socio-economic status should not struggle if there had been a proper strategic plan in place.
