The chairman of Kokodiagbene community, Comrade Sheriff Mulade, also said “Their (soldiers) continuous visits are posing serious threats to the communities. We are living in bondage. Gbaramatu kingdom is host to oil and gas facilities and not to Avengers.

“It is annoying to observe that within every five to 10 kilometres radius, there are security gunboats, yet illegal bunkering and vandalism are going on unabated.  Who are they fooling?”

Some security sources revealed to Punch that the soldiers were deployed to the area following intelligence reports.
