According to a recent report by Sunnewsonline, the two financial experts are on the watch list of the Federal Government for some alleged anomalies that occurred during their tenures as the head of Nigeria's apex bank.
It was further reported that so many discrepancies ranging from the printing of Naira notes to management of CBN’s surplus finances as well as the handling of projects and policies by the two ex-CBN governors between 2007 and 2014 will be revisited by the Federal Government.
While Soludo’s tenure is to be allegedly investigated for the process of printing new naira notes, the Emir of Kano's tenure will be probed for the distribution of FOREX earnings to Bureau de Change operators as well as the report of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRCN).
This is coming days after both ex-governors of CBN had cautioned and faulted the President Buhari led administration on the management of the Nigerian economy and policies.
