Is it okay for women to earn more than men?

Does it matter if a woman earns more money than a man, or is it really no big deal? Watch what Nigerians have to say about this.

Gender (in)equality continues to be an issue in Nigeria. Men and women in Nigeria are stereotyped and assigned different roles in life, have perceptions formed about them on the basis of their sex alone.

The Purple 50/50 Campaign was created to challenge these stereotypes and to educate people about the rights of every human being, regardless of their sex.

Courtesy of Purple 50/50, the Pulse strivia team interviewed Nigerians across several states, asking them the same question; is it okay for women to earn more than men?

The responses were not only hilarious, they also showed the average Nigerian's knowledge, or lack thereof of gender equality.
