According to Sahara Reporters, Senator Adeleke died after the medication was intravenously administered on him.

The discovery was made by pathologists who carried out an autopsy on the deceased.

Adeleke was earlier reported to have died of a cardiac arrest at the Bikets hospital in Osogbo.

The Senator passed away on Sunday, April 23, and was buried on Monday, 24, in accordance with Islamic rites.
