Missing House of Assembly Chief Matron found dead

She was said to have turned on the air conditioner in her office and locked herself inside.

The Lagos State House of Assembly Chief Matron, Caroline Oriola, has been found dead.

Oriola's corpse was found by a cleaner who had resumed work to clean the clinic earlier today, August 24.

It was gathered that she left home on Saturday, August 22, for the office, where she told her husband she wanted to pick up some drugs.

She reportedly drove her car to the Assembly complex and parked at the lawmakers’ car park before heading to her office.

The matron was said to have turned on the air conditioner in her office and locked herself inside.

Oriola did not return home since then until she was found dead today.The cause of her death is currently unknown.
