Govt. urges residents to support police, others on crime prevention

The Kano State Government has called on residents of the state to always collaborate with the Police and other security agencies to checkmate all forms of crime in the area.

Gov. Abdullahi Ganduje made the call on Monday in Kano when members of the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) in the state paid him a courtesy visit at the Government House, Kano.

Ganduje also advised the people to be security conscious and report any suspicious persons in their domains to the relevant security agencies.

“Security is a collective responsibility and should not be left in the hands of security agencies alone,” he said.

The governor commended the Commissioner of Police in the state, Muhammad Katsina, for his efforts at curtailing insecurity in the state.
