Police confirm abduction of House of Assembly member
Usman said the command has deployed its officers to rescue the lawmaker.

The Command's Public Relations Officer, ASP Aliyu Usman, made the confirmation in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).
Ismail was abducted early on Tuesday at his residence in Abapka area in Kaduna metropolis.
The lawmaker represents Tudun Wada constituency in the House of Assembly .

Usman said the command had deploy its officers to rescue the lawmaker.
He said the rescue effort was being conducted in conjunction with the intelligence unit of the Force Headquarters.
