NBA Chairman killed by assassins

The Chairman of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), in Ughelli, Delta State, Austin Icheghe has been killed by unknown gunmen.

He was reportedly killed at about 9pm as he was coming out of his car.

“As soon as he came down from his vehicle, they accosted him and shot him on the head,” his niece, Egunor Uviesa said.

“He was immediately rushed to a private clinic in Ughelli where he was confirmed dead,’’ she added.

The incident has been confirmed by the police spokesperson for the state, Celestina Kalu.
