Ex-minister has something to say about ‘Sai Buhari’ bomber

Fani-Kayode stated via Facebook on Wednesday, June 3, that the bomber’s words ‘speak volumes.’

Femi Fani-Kayode

Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has responded to reports that a suicide bomber in Maiduguri screamed ‘Sai Buhari’ before blowing himself up and killing many.

“A Boko Haram suicide bomber in Maiduguri shouts ‘Sai Buhari’ as he blows himself up and kills 17 people. Speaks volumes,” Fani-Kayode wrote.

He however edited the post following backlash from commenters and amended it to read:

“The police have reported that a BH suicide bomber in Maiduguri shouted ''sai Buhari'' as he blew himself and 17 others up. This is sad and terrible news.”

‘Sai Buhari’ is an accolade used to express that President Muhammadu Buhari is the people’s one and only choice.

Fani-Kayode has frequently accused Buhari of being a supporter of terrorist group, Boko Haram.
