According to Punch however, the teenager has said that she’s not fine despite being rescued from her abductor, Yunusa who held her captive in Kano State after kidnapping her in August 2015.
Ese is said to have made the comment during a telephone chat with Punch.
The conversation went as follows:
Punch: “We are glad you are safe and on your way back home.”
Ese: “Who is this.”
Punch: “How was your journey?”
Ese: “We have not started the journey, maybe tomorrow,” she said, probably referring to the onward trip to Bayelsa.
Punch: “Hope they treated you well and you are fine?”
Ese: “I am not fine,” she said curtly.
Punch: “Why?”
Ese: She replied, “When I come we should see. I don’t know you.”
Meanwhile, Ese is also said to have refused to travel home without her abductor.
