Family says media is demonising ex-minster

Reports reaching Pulse News say the family of the former minister of petroleum, Diezani Alison-Madueke has released an official statement, addressing her ordeal.

The press statement allegedly released by Diezani’s family, was obtained from Ladun Liadi.

The family accused the media of demonising Diezani.

The family said “However, it is clear that here is  a deliberate and vicious campaign to demonise members of the Madueke family, with all manner of frivolous allegations.”

The family also said “For example, an online news media gleefully published that Mr. Ugonna Madueke “owns at least three properties in the United States.” It even called the properties “POSH” and went on to state the addresses. THEY LIED.”
