3 things Sultan of Sokoto told President

The Sultan of Sokoto, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar has shown his support for President Muhammadu Buhari's war against corruption.

The Sultan also urged Buhari to ensure that  looted funds which are recovered are returned to the country’s coffers by those who stole them.

Alhaji Abubakar made the comments on Monday, August 17, 2015, during a security summit which the President attended.

Here are three things the Sultan told Buhari:

The Sultan was also part of the Abdulsalam Abubakar peace committee which recently visited Buhari and urged him to tread with caution in his anti-corruption war.

The committee however denied rumours that it had met with Buhari in order to plead with him not to probe former President, Goodluck Jonathan.
