Niger Delta Avengers blow up pipeline in Chevron’s Escravos tank farm

The group announced the latest attack, which occurred on Chevron’s Escravos tank farm, via Twitter.

“We Warned #Chevron but they didn't Listen. @NDAvengers just blow up the Escravos tank farm Main Electricity Feed PipeLine,” the group said today, May 26, 2016.

NDA is said to have earlier warned Chevron not to repair a major crude pipeline which was blown up by the group early in the month.

The group had, on May 4, 2016, attacked Chevron’s Okan offshore facility in the Western Niger Delta region.
