Governor donates N27 million to 27 crisis communities in Nasarawa

Nasarawa State Governor, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura has donated N27 million cash and relief materials worth hundreds of millions to 27 communities affected by communal crisis.

Al-Makura, while presenting the items said the state government was still looking at other ways to assist the victims.

Al-Makura who said the state witnessed more than 30 communal crisis from 2011 to 2016, added that each community would receive N1million cash and relief materials to be shared to the victims.

Speaking on behalf of the affected communities, the Andoma of Doma Aliyu Oga Onawa thanked Al-Makura for the gesture and appealed to communities to live in peace with one another.
