38 traffic offenders have been arrested and persecuted in Ogun state.

According to The Nation, these violators were arrested during a joint mobile court exercise between Ifo and Ota Unit Commands of Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) held at Agbado Crossing.

Their offences ranged from seat belt violation, non-possession of driver’s licences, driving with expired tyres to lack of spare tyres.
They were arraigned before the Ota Magistrate Court III, presided by Magistrate S. O. Banwo.
Banwo discharged three, and convicted the remaining 35, with fine options.

Speaking on the convictions, FRSC prosecutor, Mr Uzoma Enwereuzo, advised road users to obey all rules and regulations.
