Nigerians are getting affordable vehicle acquisition scheme soon.
“We hope to launch the affordable vehicle purchase this year,” DG announces
Nigerians will have affordable vehicle acquisition scheme early this year.
According to the director general of the National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC), Engineer Aminu Jalal, this scheme is only for Nigerian-made cars.
"We hope to launch the affordable vehicle purchase this year when we complete the registration process with the CBN," he said.
Mr. Rasheed Bello, the spokesman of the Council, shed light on the goal of the scheme.
“The NADDC Scheme has been designed around a network of vehicle dealers and manufacturer’s distributors from whose enterprise the purchase process will commence. Nigerians’ capability to buy new automobiles and components supplied will be assured by the operation of a credible credit purchase scheme integrated with a dealership programme to drive demand."
NADDC was formerly National Automotive Council (NAC).
