Mr. Ibrahim Boyi, the Managing Director of Peugeot Automobile Nigeria (PAN), said the new model could be easily compared to a model from the Peugeot factory in France, adding that it meets the global quality standard of the brand.

“When it comes to ground clearance, the car is not a push over, as ample ground clearance is provided so it can dominate all terrain, be it smooth or rough. Coming with a 15 inch alloy rim, and reinforced suspension, it fits perfectly on the Nigerian roads,”  he stated.

He was supported the brand's official ambassador, Kunle Afolayan, who was also present at the fair.

The popular actor/film producer said, “I have the Peugeot 508, which is the top of the range. It is a very fuel efficient car; in fact, it is the most fuel efficient car I have driven."
