Shilling weakens due to energy sector dollar demand

At 0855 GMT commercial banks quoted the shilling at 3,370/3,380, weaker than Thursday's close of 3,355/3,365.

The Ugandan shilling lost ground on Friday due to dollar demand from companies in the energy sector, traders said.
