"Obstacles must be mounted at every entrance of our parks"- Vigilante head

The head of a Vigilance Group in Osun is calling on the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) to provide security at motor parks.

A Vigilante leader, Alhaji Rilwan Hussein, is stressing on the importance of security at motor parks.

Thus, he is calling on the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) to be vigilant.

“There is urgent need to secure our motor parks and prevent avoidable deaths of innocent citizens. Obstacles must be mounted at every entrance of our parks, to safeguard our parks against insurgency. The union must also be vigilant at all times and challenge any suspicious movement at the motor parks. We must all work together to salvage our country from insurgency. ”

While speaking with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) at Ede, he went on to advise the union to mount speed breakers at the entrance of the parks in order to limit the speed of vehicles.

“Aside being used for criminal activities, when such vehicles are involved in accidents, it will be difficult to identify the victims or contact their relatives."
