Shilling steady, seen weakening in the days ahead

At 0714 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 101.35/45 to the dollar, changed from Thursday's close.

The Kenyan shilling was stable against the dollar on Friday with energy sector dollar demand being matched inflows from horticulture, but traders said it was seen staying under pressure to ease in the days ahead.

At 0714 GMT, commercial banks quoted the shilling at 101.35/45 to the dollar, changed from Thursday's close. Traders said it was seen trading in the 101.20 and 101.50 range in the next few days.
