Mobile court convicts 35 traffic offenders
A mobile court, set up by the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), has convicted at least thirty-five traffic offenders.
According to the Unit Commander, Augustine Kalu, this conviction is part of the commission's plan to reduce road traffic crashes by 15%.
Kalu said he hoped this persecution would stop others from violating traffic rules.
The mobile court, presided over by Magistrate Akunna Opara of the Imo State judiciary, persecuted the offenders for driver licence violation, number plate violation, over speeding and loading, e.t.c.
The mobile court was located in Ngor-Okpala, Imo State.
