Audi has revealed explicit details of it's next flagship model, the next-generation A8.

Audi is set to release a new model soon.

Rupert Stadle, the chief executive, says the A8 will have advanced and semi-autonomous capabilities, along with the new "Traffic Jam Pilot," which will give the sedan the ability to drive itself from 0 to 37 mph.

Long-range radar, ultrasonic sensors, lasers, and several cameras are expected to play a huge role in this.

"In this way, Audi will cross the threshold from partial to highly automated driving," Stadle says.

Other notable features include organic LED lighting, and gesture controls that will give users the ability to do certain things with simple hand movements.

Carbuzz reports that this new model will also come with a fresh set of engines and new styling from the Audi Prologue Concept.
